I was going to ask about those... they were sooo excellent and could be made to look really out-there or just a tad inhuman!

What other subtle ones are there? Was thinking about some effects for some contrabando/theurgy/necromancy mixes I heard rumour about, and if it's true then it would bring the house down. Twisted Evil

This is where we got them from http://www.screamteam.com/ and they are fairly reasonably priced.

I'm bumping this rather than starting a new thread.

Cash flow is restricted at the moment. Does anyone know of more companies that do prosthetics and/or good quality masks? Is anyone doing an order to Screamteam very very soon so I can share postage costs?

Failing that, any ideas for making facial prosthetics quickly and cheaply (and preferably without them looking kak)?

Simon (Vengence) is looking to order in the near future, I'll let you know when he is placing the order, but I'm guessing you will be wanting it for EOS?

Very yes! Smile

Getting a bit downhearted at the mo since I don't want to just paint my face up but the cash flow vs delivery time thing means I might be better off making it myself or investing in some cheating makeup techniques. I definitely want the Gaunt face/Morlock teeth/large ear tips ready for the first event next year though.

Know if it's feasible to make a prosthetic if you have the alginate in the time available?

I'm going to be getting some stuff some time before next year so let me know when your looking at putting in the order and will share postage/lump everything together.

How quick are they? I was going to put an order in ASAP so it will arrive before the event (hopefully) but if you know it would be a tad iffy then I'll order when you're ready.

AFAIK they get extraordinarily busy this time of year due to it nearly being halloween and stuff but pm me if your planning on sticking an order in this week and I'll join you if they've got the stuff in stock that I'm after. Thats kinda the only reason I haven't put anything in yet myself coz they are always out of the cool stuff when I look Sad

PS: My broadband died over the weekend so wasn't to reply till now. If you've already stuck an order in don't worry about it.

Nope, not ordered yet but the payment on my card hasn't cleared so I can't order just yet. Getting a tad nervous about the time left here. Curse the banks and their rubbish clearing rules!

What are you after btw?

I'm ordering prosthetics from Toddy the guy who does player make up at Maelstrom. His are good and reasonably priced. I don't know if I'm getting mates rates or not but hes charged me £15 for the wolf face and ear tips. I think thats ok. So if anyone wants anything just shout and I'll see if hes got it or if he can make it for us.

Screamteam stuff, or stuff like it? If he can do something like the Gaunt prosthetic from Screamteam.com with ear tips and possibly the dentures I'm sold! Very Happy
