Gary Gygax passed away this morning.

Amazing the impact a couple of books he thought wouldn't sell have made on the world.

Yeah. With Heath Ledger karking it and all the media attention it seems more subtlety powerful that the co-founder of D&D is indirectly responsible for us lot meeting has passed away. I'm also astounded at how many of my non RP friends (almost 3/4) knew who he was and what he did. For them to know of him is testament to the effect he had on society in general.

I'm going to have a drink after time out for the dude. Anyone else wanting to join in is more than welcome.
