Airsoft at Gunman 28th and 29thDoes anyone want to come and have a shoot at Gunman Airsoft the weekend of the 28th and 29th April would be quite cool to get everyone together and go for a beer afterwards??
55.00 all day including gunhire and bb's + assult rigs and gear 
Would be cracking if we all met up and had a run around and a shoot

It's my baaaaby (after Tori of course)! It has uprated spring and piston, metal bushings, increased battery output (makes it fire faster for fire support duty) and a tight bore barrel for accuracy and barely legal fps (all fitted with my fair hands). Combined with black BBs, 200rnd hi-cap magazines and a silencer the enemy will never know what hit them
And if it's milsim we're talking about then I can swap to realcaps.
Will we be allowed larpsafe knives for stealth takedowns? In fact will stealth takedown rules be in effect? Can we use pyros? Can we use MARK 5 pyros? CanICanICanICanICanICanICanICanI??? Huh? CanICanICanI??

Btw, I have 8 walkie squawkies if we decide to go as one team. I also have enough spare equipment to sort out folks with tac-vests etc provided it doesn't matter that they don't match and you don't mind equipment with resi-evil STARS patches on.

I just thought, is everyone playing the entire weekend or just one day? I have full milsim kit if we're doing this properly which means we can camp (got enough spare tents) and if we want to go on the lash then I can guide us to the local watering holes since it's my end of the manor (so to speak)

:)Ok you ned to get there before 10am so arrival aim for about 9:15-9:30 it will be an all day game.. If you have any camo bring it and bring with you a decent pair of comfy boots or hardy trainers/walking shoes... I would also suggest you bring several litres of water and some snacks but there will be a guy there doing food like burgers, hotdogs, bacon egg and snackies/cans of drink.
Also If enough of you guys come along i wil play because im looking to set up and 8 man team to compte in the Uk championships held at Gunman in the summer

ok directions.Follow the A14 down towards cambridge, once you pass the turning for bar hill get into the left hand lane.
Follow signs for felixstowe/newmarket and you will go onto the east bound section of the A14.
You will pass cambridge and you will pass newmarket... keep going
Go past the A11 turning to Thetford and continue until you see the turning for Tuddenham and Cavenham.
At the top of this slip road turn Left.
Follow the road straight on all the way to Tuddenham, then turn Right at the fork towards Cavenham.
The site will be sign posted along this road. When you arrive, please park you car and make your way to the G.O.D area.
I wil be there from about 8am  so i shall meet you when you arrive

Cricket boxes are for nancy-boys. They interfere with the charge and stop your bits from letting much moisture escape. Hell, I only wear the minimum of protection (eye wear, Hombase, safety glasses in anti-glare, reflective and light enhancing versions... a tenner). No masks (unless it's close quarter combat) and shedloads of pyros.
They allow mark 5 flashbangs and smokes.... I'm in heaven! I might bring my gasmask!
Btw, GOD was mentioned at early o'clock... is this going to have LARP overtones??? **Squeee at the thought**

If folks need odd bits of kit I'll bring my arsenal. Not sure what I'm going to wear yet but I'll have a spare tac/load bearing vest, holsters, loaders etc. as well as spare safety goggles.
Btw, if we're going to make this semi-regular and folks want kit I get discounts on airsoft widgery. Give me an excuse to buy stuff if I'm ordering anyway so the missus can't grumble

Hm have I got the bug.... possibly, was talking to Steve after, and I -might- give up smoking to afford a gun, gotta be a P90, not that having a site AK47 hurt, it just took a little practice (luck) to get hits over 40ft they spray rather than shoot.
Does it hurt, not much apart from the continuous pod shots, I was taking.  oh and the stinging nettles, lol Pete had to strip to his pants to get some spray in the middle of a fire field
Great Day Josh runs some awesome games, 3 games played each way, great.
(oh and can they be used for LARPsoft to damn right, just gotta figure out the reason for everyone in the area, and why your fighting)

Ok not being as manly as Dog i have to say im broken  but was an absolute laugh and i realy enjoyed it, i may in the future (when the cash flow allows) buy into this game, but at the present a couple of games now and then with site AK's is fine by me

I have to say;
FECKIN AWESOME SITE AND FOLKS THERE!
Best airsofting I've done yet! The organisers did a bloody good job of keeping things balanced and fun even during play. Fairness and honour between players was at its highest I've seen yet. Politeness was at such a level it was almost comical (chuggachugga "Hit" "Sorry I caught you in the head!" "No worries, my fault I didn't duck quick enough" etc). The "Resi-Evil 4" mission was awesome when the music kicked in and we were pinned in the building!
And always make sure your shoelaces are tied securely. Tripping spreadeagled into stinging nettles so thick they go through clothing isn't funny as it took 24 hours, an entire spray bottle of anti nettle spray, 1000mgs of painkillers and 3 antihistamines to get over. Parts of my body have only just got feeling back (hence me not taking some of the hits I was supposed to... I just didn't feel it).
Remember kids, grenades are your friends.

Good choice, certainly for CQB. If you'd like help shopping and advice on stuff I spent 2 months researching the different weapons to buy before I got my P90. I trawled the airsoft forums and websites so I got a pretty widespread knowledge base, plus I get to window shop.
