On the whole we are totally appraochable. In fact most of my work is as a diplomat. Being dead doesn't seem to curtailed these activities at all. In fact it has opened several doors that were previously closed. Existence is not souless although it can be cold on occasion. It didn't do my marriage any good for example. In fact I have just got divorced.
However, cross us and your experience may be a little different

FACT: The most vocal are the churches
FACT: The churches (generally) find it more profitable to ostracise the undead and those who empower them, as it unifies them and keeps their minds off taxes and the fiddling of the choir
FACT: The churches fear anyone who has the power to control their own destiny rather than have it given to them by a higher power.
So what have we learned here? Choose death, choose f***ing big armour and weapons, choose cold yet friendly drinking companions, choose Necromancy.

Well im a perfectly friendly chap,and wil happily insure anyones soul who would wish to make sure they arent leaving the earthly plane anytime soon. Of course the problem you will have is finding me, so far an entire nation has had no success ad they spent a year looking. But ya never know.

Yes, some of the churches dont like you guys, but then, most of the churches want to do away with us Weaverites as well.
At the end of the day, we are what we make ourselves. It's just unfortunate that we have to endure the reality other people try and cast upon us.

I think you are both right, Heinrich painting with just a wider brush.
I have had time to talk with the older gods followers and they certainly have no problem with undead, as all things we can do must be in the greater scheme of things or they would not permit it.
And if you are saying that teh weaver also take on some of these qualities, of letting the followers set their own destiny, by creating options for them to follow and pusue then there might be a new world religion I could spare two pfeks to listen to. Believing and following would cost a lot more

as usual you look at things only from the perspective of the weaker gods and churches. The old gods *gave* you necromancy in the first place. They understood and understand the nature of your souls and so do not fear what power you would have over them
as knowledge comes tumbling from the maelstrom I am sure you will find that necromancy will bond with theurgy and that undeadish eidolons will once more be striding the land
close your eyes to the truth of your nature and the Gods of the Johen and you close your eyes to the divinity within you. The weak gods are weak and seek to enslave you. The Gods of Johen seek for all to be one...

I venture a not so well trallelled place by myself to impart some support of my Freind Glic.
Our Gods have never demanded we not use something useful as it is "forbiddon" or "evil", such concepts are alien to us as they are to the Gods of Yoyhen, only what fits into life and nature is true. Necromancy is a natural part of magic and the Maelstrom, it is a concept as natural as breathing therefore its use cannot be denied, only when it is out of concert with Yoyhen does it enrage her, and the consequences of such actions means Yoyhen (the land as you call it) will react to your presence as a Unicorn would react to an annoying tick.
The Gods of the False lands are weak because they constrain themselves into the chains of an unnatural existence, there is not meant to be a "War in Heaven", they created Fallen, as consequence to disobeying there commands, as Dictators and Rules not the beings of supreme knoledge and wisdom they were and so diluted themselves. Our gods never did such an act, to turn on their own, they ask nothing more than to listen to them, not obey. We do not bow, r crawl, and never will and neither would ask us too

You see i think you've all got the wrong Idea here, it isn't about what the god's "think" you should do or if you are or are not a necromonkey, it's about what you percieve as being good for you and those that are with you. Be that taking over the world, killing off another race, or being the richest man in the world, it's about your own goals and how you achive them, and nobody has the right to tell how to do that, suggest maybe, tell never.
Do what you have to to accomplish what you want, and let none stand in your path.
