the Lrp Hotel?

You guys doing the Lrp hotel this year? I'm considering using it instead of camping and I'd rather pitch with people I know than use the comunal tent Smile

Me personally, I like the hotel, but as to weather we go for it this time I don't know, do you know if they are running it again this year, I thought it was just a one off exteriment?

just checked the website they are indeed running the hotel this year for all four events. £140 per tent. £40 for a dorm tent.

just thought I'd let you all know that I'm intending to run the LRP Hotel for all four of the 2007 Maelstrom events.

I've already had quite a few emails and phone calls asking about it so I thought I'd better update the web pages and let everyone know that it will be available. Spaces will be limited and we may run out of tents! I'm looking for as much advance notice as possible so that I know how many more tents we'll need to buy. A small early booking discount is available [w00t]

Chris B, as group loudmouth would yuo like to have a sneaky with Seán and ask if we could get a discount if using for all events? and if we could when would we need to pay him etc

further to that ask him could we annex a small tent off either the main tent or off the LRP hotel complex, further again ask Matt P could we have a tent...em I think thats all from me...

Maybe all this is in hand or not my place, but I'm resurfacing from my winter hermitism and thought I'd shout

I can ask Sean if we could get a discount for pre booking all events, but how many tents do we need, who is in?

Also, what do we need the PD tent for? Matt will prolly want to know Smile

If its something like another sahara you want apart from getting Seans permission to put it up by him i'm more than happy to have my tent in an IC area. Well that what I was planning. Err are we not having a Sons area at all with the big tent?

We could do, those kinda things are normally last min, due to the cost of moving it, normally about £140 plus fuel, also the number of bodies available to errect it on the friday*, and what the weather is going to do, if it looks like a wet one we might not bring it, cos theere is nowhere for us to air it and dry it off.

Having said that, we could easily share it with our allies and neighbours...

Like I said it will be a decided later rather than sooner.

and not at all if we all plumb for the hotel option of booking early for a discount, many factors to weigh up.

Possibly a discussion to kick of a new thread, do we ask for subs form our members?

Glic, don't forget I have use of one of PD's tents for the "business" Tori & I are running. It might be worth discussing this in the closed section though Wink
