We Want to run a Game...This is an open invite to all those we know, even if in some games they are misguided and play for the wrong team...
The idea is a one off (for now) LRP Airsoft Game.
The setting is sci-fi, post near world disaster, by quite some time, civilization is growing again, and they are in a war for resources. Some of the old states and countries from history have reasserted themselves, others are new founded in the ashes of the previous.
The scenario will be track down the resources and get out, one squad runs through the scenario, beset on all side by adversaries and low equipment. Why only 24hrs to get the gear? well in 24hrs heavy mechanised forces form an opposing faction will occupy the area, for now they are only flooding the area with infantry.
I'm asking here for interested parties to raise a hand, so we might be able to gauge how many to run the game for and to work out a cost.
This will be our game but we are asking Gunmanairsoft will be the event organizer. It will be a closed game, and if you can read this you are invited 
We are thinking of running it towards the end of August, we will confirm once we know when Josh is available, and when the most of us Sons can make it.
There will be player places and crew places, and of course if you play and die you will be added to crew.
If you lot are interested I can flesh out the setting in more detail, a lot more detail, but that should be enough of a taster to whet you appetite.

I'm nominally up for it, subject to persuading wife + not already having plans for whatever weekend you choose (I guess it goes without saying it wont be August bank holiday)

Yes anyone could in theory read this, but it's knowing about it.
I suspect the numbers will be made up of people we already know, and possibly a few of their friends.

Its a maybe from me as I don't mind crewing or playing. Also its a depends on when it is. If it clashes with other events I'm involved with or my off duty sheet or essay writing deadlines get in the way.
So really its a yep probably.

OK have had contact with Josh, and player places wil lbe about £100 - £125 depending on numbers, and weather you want catering or not. Thats for time in from 8 Friday til 1 Sunday. I'm still talking with Josh about logistics, and the actual structure of the game, but things are looking good.
(Crew Places will be somewhere between £0 - £30 for the weekend due to ammo/kit and food)
I will look at getting some background details and atmosphere text up somewhere over the weekend.

I'm up for playing or crewing. My services might be employed crewing since I'm currently working on some sweet booby traps (not involving mammaries, but large springs, tubing and tripwires) that could be used.
Either way, I will shift stuff around to get there. *Raises both arms*

Think I will move this idea on to Josh, he has a -very- similar idea and is already organizing it, this will prolly drop the entrance fee a bit, so keep watching and I will keep people posted.
