im jsut wondering what you guys might thinka botu this. im getting a 25 by 45 inch shield made. do you think this is too big? i dont i think its a reasonably large shield but not too big. what are your views?

Suppose it depends how tall you are, if it was for someone of my build the only way to get at you would be decapitation (just) or chop your foot of at the ankle cause thats all they would see Laughing

what are you gettin it made of? in LRP portability is a big issue. If it's some cheapo light material then no prob not too big (just *massively* cheesy ;op)

if it's gonna have a wood frame and be heavyish then you'll find yourself only using it occasionally and shouldn't pay a great deal ya know?

Doing the math roughly in my head that really isn't that bad. It is certainly smaller than a scutum (legionarys shield)

It might be a bit weird to use mind you as 2ft across by nearly four deep is a bloody odd shape. the funny little rectangle won't give you coverage acoss the chest unless you are ickle.

Can I ask why those dimensions?

suited the shape its not a ractangle its more an egg upside down. and ill be using it alot as in most weekends in fnh Razz
